Great for the small video creator.

I was shopping for a shotgun mic and I saw a review for the new Deity V-Mic D3 Pro. It's well worth the investment and much more affordable than the Rode mic's and in my opinion much better. I had the video mic go and there is a substantial difference in sound quality. The stepless gain knob allows for a crisp sound. I have this boomed above me on an amazon basics mic stand and an extension cable from the mic to my canon camera and the sound is very professional.

The mic is well designed.

The mic is well designed. It's rugged and sturdy. I like that it turns on and off automatically, extending battery life. I love that you can slide the mount forward and backward. This allows you to use the viewfinder on your camera without the mic getting in the way.
Battery life on this thing is awesome and it interconnects well with my Canon M50. Great blogger mic or backup mic as well!
