My lens have a speckle of something inside between glass elements from the day, it arrived. Black paint job on the lens hood is shockingly bad - several paint blobs/drips.
Lovely lens. Gorgeous looking. Nail the focus and it's very sharp, even wide open. Suffers a bit from flare, but unexpectedly it came with a very nice metal lens hood which counters the flare nicely. Happy days. Highly recommended!!!

I'm not a professional photographer, just an amateur willing to try. Having watched a few videos and read some reviews this lens seemed to good to be true, so thought I'd give it a go. I wasn't disappointed. First photos that I took were fantastic, blown away by how crisp and sharp they were.Seperation of subject from background was great,nice bokeh and clear images. I'm locking forward to trying it out more when time permits. Don't be fooled by the low price, it punches way above its diminutive stature. Looks good on my EOS R7, functions great and only time will tell on its performance. Would be willing to purchase more lenses from Pergear in the future if they can produce such quality at such low prices. If your thinking of purchasing one then I'd fully recommend it.
