The Pergear 14mm F2.8 Ultra-wide lens is designed for Full-frame Sony E-mount, Nikon Z-mount, Canon RF-mount, and Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras, but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 21mm equivalent focal length.

13 Elements in 9 groups, 2 aspherical elements and 5 ultra-high refractive index glass, 10 aperture blades help to control distortion and spherical aberrations for improved sharpness and accurate rendering. 3 extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and colour accuracy.

Impressively wide 114° angle of view pairs with a rectilinear design, which renders subjects with minimal distortion in order to suit the landscape and architectural applications.

The bright f/2.8 aperture is designed to suit work in a variety of lighting conditions and also for controlling depth of field and isolating subject matter. The Nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

Manual focusing design and a minimum focusing distance of 22cm suit working with close-up subjects. The clicked aperture ring is stepped with the right amount of resistance and click, marking full stops from F/2.8 to F/22.

Equipped with an 82mm filter adapter, the Pergear 14mm F2.8 II provides versatility in terms of creative options. You can easily attach filters to enhance your images and experiment with various effects.

Wow. Pergear deleted my secondary review for the third time! Impressive. By the way, there was another (by other user) review with low rating and it was also deleted.

I have to change (for the fourth time!) my lens rating as the screws (not the visible ones!) became loose after just 4 months. I was forced to tighten they by myself before the lens will fall apart. Two times. I'm waiting when it will happen again.

Good Lens, but...

The Lens works fine, sharpness is good.
The main problem is flares and ghosting. When the light is from the side sometimes it is impossible to take a photo. Event 1/3 od the frame is covered by white ghost.
Contrast also needs improving. Especially when the light is from the side or directly in front.
Metal barrell feels nice but makes the lens a little too heavy.
Compact size is great.
Sharpness ring works nicely smooth.
Aperture ring needs improving. The force needed to change the aperture is too high. Also it is possible to rotate a ring a little more than 2.8 position.
Vignetting is too big.
Price is ok.

I have used my lens only twice. So far I’m satisfied with the results I got. It’s sharp across most of the frame. When stopped down for landscapes I can only see less ideal results in the far corners.

Wide Deep Scharp and 82mm filter holder !!

is it sharp?, yes not super sharp, feels good, can hold an 82cm filter, definitely worth it, it is heavy, has its advantages and disadvantages, but for wide photography, definitely recommended

amazing quality

Lens arrived in a week in perfect condition. Quality is amazing for the price. There seem to have been some improvements from the reviews online as my aperture ring is completely tight with no overtravel at all. Lens is also perfectly centered with even sharpness across the entire image even at f2.8.

There is some noticeable flaring when shooting into bright lights, but this is a minor inconvenience.

overall highly recommended!
