Designed for full-frame Sony E-mount, Canon RF-mount, Nikon Z-mount and L-mount mirrorless cameras, but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 52.5mm equivalent focal length.
Bright F/1.4 maximum aperture suits working in low-light conditions and also affords greater control over the depth of field. Additionally, a 10-blade diaphragm is featured and contributes a smooth bokeh quality.
Design renders a 63.2° angle of view to produce a distinct visual, it is perfect for still-lifes, close-ups, streets, and travel photography.
Manual focus design, capable of focusing as close as 30cm away. The clicked aperture ring is stepped with the right amount of resistance and click, marking full stops from F/1.4 to F/16.
Multi-layer coating & lens hood protection, suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast and colour fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions. The included lens hood provides some protection for the lens but more so, helps to prevent stray light from causing flare.

This thing is really great at smaller apertures (f8 to f16). As expected there is some vignetting wide open.
Solidly constructed, all metal, this lens feels great to use. The aperture ring has obvious clicks and the focus ring is smooth as butter.
For the price, I highly recommend this lens.
First version released a few years ago was soft , this is a big improvement..very happy considering the ridiculous price..OK if you zoom in you will see it's not a G master but just shoot your composition so you don't need to zoom or crop and that's it . And the size is amazing. Thanks

I used it on my Sony A7ii and it was excellent. Awesome build quality and feels really premium. Super soft bokeh wide open and very sharp stopped down. Nice vintage lens look without the price and hassle of adapting vintage lenses. Only issue is that the included lens hood adds a lot of vignetting but it’s fine without the hood. Would absolutely recommend this lens to anyone.
The focus ring is smooth except for one point, where it feels like resistance. Probably due to poor quality checking before shipping.
