PERGEAR Action Camera

Solide kleine Action Cam zum kleinen Preis. Natürlich mit sehr viel Zubehör im Lieferumfang. Das ganze Review auf meinem youtube Kanal

Best bang for the buck?

Not bad! The video is useable, the audio it records could be better and the photos could be better but overall this is a FUN camera! The app is super easy to connect and use. The image stabilization is decent but it does crop the image. Is the camera truly 5K and 50MP? I have a full review video that will tell you:
In the description of the video I have a link to download sample footage if you want to "try before you buy".
FYI, it makes a great dash cam!

False Advertising?

Overall, the camera is decent. I was not expecting GoPro quality for $80. The front display is really cool. My issue is that this product is advertised as having a rear "touch display for intuitive control". This camera does not have a rear touch screen which makes it very difficult to learn, or actually remember, all the button combinations to navigate the settings. Very disappointing.

A cheap sub-par action camera with sketchy video stabilisation quality

A very cheap US$80 5K action camera on the market. The video stabilization quality is not as good as Akaso Brave 7 action camera (which is twice the price) and cannot be compared to GoPro Hero (needless to say). The menu interface is not user friendly. It's confusing to operate. I wonder why Pergear would produce a sub-par action camera to compete in this market segment but choose to low ball the price and not upgrade video stabilisation quality. EIS electronic anti-shake needs to be turned on, not default setting. Overall quality of video is average, with stabilisation not fully effective, and darker places will produce grainy video due to insufficient light source (but the camera does not compensate). I would recommend paying more to get a better camera.

Image Sensor

Hello, this seems like a camera with great bundle and low cost. What is the Sony image sensor that it has and is it currently in stock?

Hello Carlos,
The Pergear 5K action camera uses Sony IMX386 sensor. And yes, it's in stock.
