New 3D Printer - Creality Ender-3 S1 Plus

The new Creality 3D printer, Ender-3 S1 Plus is the upgraded model from Ender-3 S1 Pro. The mainly upgrades are the build volume, CR touch auto-leveling and the "Sprite" direct extruder. The biggest difference between this new 3D printer and the Ender-3 S1 pro is the print volum, it has been increased to 300*300*300mm instead of 220*220*270mm. A larger printer is more convenient for bussiness use.

Using Creality self-developed CR Touch 16-point automatic leveling technology, the auto-leveling system can automatically compensate the printing height of different points of the hot bed, it's super easy to use.

The new self-developed "Sprite" all-metal dual-gear proximal extruder adopts chrome steel, 1:3.5 reduction ratio gear, and the extrusion force is as high as 80N. Compared with other proximal extruders, the sprite is lighter in weight, lower in inertia, and more precise in positioning.

Built in 4.3-inch LCD touch screen, with efficient and concise UI interface, makes the operation easier, and supports 9 language switching, automatic dimming of the screen in 3 minutes and other functions, to meet the needs of different users.

Z-axis double screw + Z-axis double motor, synchronous and coordinated linkage, more stable operation, reduce the resonance generated during the printing process, more accurate and stable printing, and improved printing quality, provide high precision printing.

I was thinking the very same. If it’s not an all metal hotend, how can it be an upgrade to an all metal hotend printer? Why did Creality think it was smart to remove he all metal hotend from this printer any way? This seems like a step backwards.

For clarification, on creality official site, it states the Ender-3 S1 Plus uses a teflon tubing to stainless steel throat tube. Therefore, wouldn’t the S1 Plus be a larger version/upgraded model of the S1 instead of the S1 Pro (which uses a titanium alloy throat tube)
