Godox New Released -- Godox MF12 Macro Flash

One of the big problems encountered when shooting in macro mode is "lack of light." The light transmission rate of the macro lens will decrease when shooting close up. And the photography's body may block if it is too close. So if there is a flash dedicated for macro, the shooting success rate will be higher. The Godox MF12 macro flash launched this time can not only illuminate the subject of macro photography, but also provide more possiblity in use.

With Godox’s own X wireless remote flashing system, multiple MF12 can be connected for simultaneous use. Each MF12 is an independent individual, you can even place multiple MF12 in Different angles to create more light effects. You can also choose to cooperate with Godox's special lens holder to install up to 6 MF12 to create an average light effect similar to a ring light.

▲There are not many buttons on the lamp body, the output is mainly controlled by the triggering party

Speaking of the MF12 itself, there are not many buttons on the light body. It is mainly for setting the wireless channel and group. The adjustment of the output is the responsibility of the flash trigger. Its firepower is only 12W, and there is no zoom. After the built-in lithium-ion battery is fully charged, the full output can flash up to 500 times. The recycling speed is 0.01-1.7 seconds. There is a vertical clip under the lamp holder, and the angle of the lamp holder can be adjusted at the top, which is convenient for the user to clamp on different objects and output at different angles. Of course, the cold shoe head and the stand-up board will also be attached at the same time. An MF12 will be sold at US$109. In addition, there will be 6 sets of MF12 with lens holder on sale, priced at US$723, and it is expected to be launched in October.

▲The MF12 can be mounted on the lens with a dedicated lens holder

▲The lens holder can install up to 6 MF12 at the same time, with the soft light cover is added, the effect will be similar to the use of ring macro lights
