Interesting how the performance, characteristics, and price seem to vary a bit between the 17mm, 35mm, and 50mm, but I guess that’s the nature of lens design.

Thanks for stocking this one. I may get one as well, for M4/3. Hope the distortion and vignetting are well controlled (and smaller M4/3 image circle should help with that…), for a manual lens where we can’t easily correct for live video, or even for photos without some extra work.

What is this, like 30% the price or less than the Sigma 16mm f/1.4, and lighter and smaller, focuses slightly closer?

Found it on a sale site in Belgium – won’t ship to USA though.

Any updates on release date?

Hope it will be available soon! As far as I know this is the only fast and really cheap 35mm equivalent for M4/3. The f1.4 aperture is awesome and it’s really needed to get some bokeh given the focal length…the only other similar lens is the Laowa 17mm, very good but much more expensive and only F1.8.

This is definitely a day 1 purchase for me. I love the 28mm equivalent field of view, currently the Fuji 18mm f2 / X100V with the WCL, and have been searching for a manual focus in this range for a very long time. It being a 1.4 is just icing on the cake.

The article was released in March, and mentions “next month”. April is almost over. I’m really hoping it drops soon!

Is this lens True f/1.4 or not , I tested kamlan 21 mm f/1.8 not really true it’s f/2.0 , 7artisan 55 mm f/1.4 is f/1.7 , 7artisan 35 mm f/0.95 not true it is fake aperture came out f/1.15 . I tested 7days , I got 45 years photo experience. But, kamlan 50 mm f /1.1 make 2 True f/1.1 lens. Very happy with kamlan 50 mm. TTartisan 50 mm f/1.2 Very earnest True f/1.2 So sharp remarkable well made lens. Brovo TTartisan I’ll keep buy.
