Godox V860iii New Features

Godox has released a brand-new flash unit- Godox V860iii and is an updated version of its previous model (Godox V860ii). According to Godox officials, many updated features are incorporated into this new device.  Now, let’s see its some new features.

Modeling light for Pre-visualization

The Godox v860iii is equipped with a great front-facing modeling light, which is a big change compared with its previous model.This is a big change for this front-facing modeling light. This flash unit has a 2W LED modeling lamp that has a color temperature of almost 5300k. It also includes 10 adjustable brightness levels. Godox official says that the modeling lamp is good for previewing lighting and working well in a low-light environment when focusing.When it comes to the flash’s menu, it is easy to control the flash unit via a button and the flash unit has a backlit display.

 Quick Switch for Smooth Control

A quick switch is also a great feature for this device. This quick-release lock makes sure that the flash can be locked onto the camera safely when shooting and offers photographers a smooth and comfortable shooting process.

Built-in Godox Wireless X System

Godox v860iii works well with different light modifiers and is equipped with built-in 2.4Ghz wireless technology, therefore, it is good for system triggers, other lights, and transmitter units as well. Godox v860iii is also a versatile Speedlight because of its TTL, manual and multi-flash modes. This flash also has high-speed sync up to 1/8000s and FEC, FEB, and rear curtain sync.

Lithium-ion Battery

Battery plays an important role for flash units and Godox says that this device has a 2.6000mAh battery that can offer users 480-full power flashes. This version of the battery is higher than the previous Godox v860ii. Godox still keeps the 1.5 seconds recycle time.
